The International Forum on the Future of Constitutionalism and the Black Law Students' Association of Canada invite you to join us for a Town Hall on "How Should Professors Teach Constitutional Law?," to be held on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 6:00pm EDT to 8:00pm EDT. The registration deadline is 4:00pm EDT on Thursday, October 15, 2020. Free registration is available here.
All are welcome to attend this Town Hall to hear students' perspectives on the subjects professors should cover and the approaches professors should take in their courses on constitutional law. Students will be given priority to express their views, and all others are invited to learn from them. The purpose of this Town Hall is offer students a forum to discuss their experiences as students formerly or presently enrolled in constitutional law courses, to exchange ideas about how their constitutional law courses can be designed, or could have better designed, to meet their needs and interests, and also to amplify the voices of the student members of the Black Law Students' Association of Canada.
This event will be co-moderated by Tiana Knight, a 3L at the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law and the National President of BLSA Canada; Kerry-Ann Cornwall, a 2nd year JD/MBA student at Osgoode Hall Law School and the National Chair of BLSA Canada; and Richard Albert, Director of the International Forum on the Future of Constitutionalism.
