The Constitutional Studies Program at the University of Texas at Austin, in collaboration with the International Forum on the Future of Constitutionalism, welcomes submissions for the second Graduate Workshop in Constitutional Reform.
This Workshop is designed specifically for graduate students writing on subjects involving constitutional amendment, including constitutional change, constitutional mutation, constitutional dismemberment, constitutional reform, or constitutional replacement. There is no cost to participate.
Doctoral scholars are invited to propose to present part of their doctoral dissertation--or a related paper or work-in-progress--in this Workshop, to be led by Richard Albert. Each session will feature a presentation by a doctoral scholar to be followed by discussion and Q&A with invited attendees.
This Workshop will offer doctoral scholars the opportunity to learn how to present a paper and how to serve as a discussant, as well as how to give and receive feedback. This Workshop will also offer doctoral scholars the opportunity to deepen their knowledge in the field of constitutional amendment.
This Workshop will run over roughly five to eight sessions from February to May 2023. The start time for each session will be chosen in consultation with the doctoral scholars selected to present their scholarship in this Workshop.
Registration closes on January 9, 2023.
