The International Forum on the Future of Constitutionalism presents a free online seminar on "Democracy in our Digital Age" on Friday, September 25, 2020 from 1:00pm EDT to 3:00pm EDT. The registration deadline is 4:00pm EDT on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. Free registration is available here.
This seminar will explore the current state of democracy in our digital age. Subjects for discussion include the impact of social media in enhancing or deteriorating democracy, the proliferation of electronic surveillance and tracking, modern forms of information warfare, the democratization of journalism, and new possibilities for digital constitutionalism. The panel will feature three leading thinkers in this subject area.
Each of the speakers will give prepared remarks for 15 minutes, followed by an intrapanel exchange for 15 minutes more, with the remaining 60 minutes or so devoted to comments and conversation with registrants.
This online seminar will be held live on Zoom on Friday, September 25, 2020, from 1:00pm EDT until 3:00pm EDT.
This seminar is open to all. The registration deadline is 4:00pm EDT on Tuesday, September 22, 2020.
There is no cost to enroll in this seminar.
