Instructions to Play | Detailed Version

1. Please tell me about this fundraiser!

Every year since 2017, we have raised funds to support childhood education in Haiti. Our collective efforts have given children and their families hope for better lives, stronger communities, and a more stable country.

2. Where does the money go?
Each and every dollar raised goes directly to school enrollment fees and supplies for one or more children in Haiti. (It costs about $400 USD per year to send one child in Haiti to school.)  In the past, we have raised enough to send multiple children to school each year. These children are now enrolled in elementary school. They are learning to read, to count and to write, and they are delighting in the pleasures of paints, puzzles and instruments.

3. Will I learn anything about the children we sponsor?
Yes! I send all donors at least one annual update on the children sponsored through this fundraiser. Updates include photos and sometimes report cards. (Updates are sent to all donors who provide their email address.)

4. Is this fundraiser connected to basketball?
This fundraiser is held in connection with the annual
NCAA March Madness College Basketball Tournament. To participate in this fundraiser, you are asked to contribute a minimum of $15 USD for each tournament bracket you submit. Throughout the NCAA basketball tournament, participants can track how are faring in predicting the outcome of tournament games. The final participant standings from prior years are available further down below.
