The International Forum on the Future of Constitutionalism presents a free live online seminar on "The Law Faculty Hiring Process: Insights from Hiring Chairs and New Hires."
This free live online seminar will be led by Richard Albert, William Stamps Farish Professor in Law and Professor of Government at the University of Texas at Austin and Founding Director of the International Forum on the Future of Constitutionalism . Richard Albert will be joined live by these four scholars, including two who have served as chair of a Faculty Appointments Committee, one entering the second year as a tenure-track professor, and another soon to begin the first year as a tenure-track professor:
Each of these four scholars will make brief remarks about their experiences in the law faculty hiring process. There will be plenty of time for questions from seminar registrants.
This free seminar will be held live on Zoom on Friday, June 19, 2020, from 2:00pm EDT until 3:30pm EDT. The Zoom details will be provided to all course registrants.
There is no cost to attend this seminar. It is open to all, including faculty and students in law, government, history, world affairs, and other fields.
All registrants completing this seminar will receive a certification to that effect from the International Forum on the Future of Constitutionalism. No academic credit will be awarded in connection with this seminar
